Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, defined as “an integrated and coherent socio-economic process that directly contributes to the economic transformation of South Africa and brings about significant increases in the number of Black people that manage, own and control the country’s economy as well as significant decreases in income inequalities.” – The dti.

We are also a member of the South African Association of Freight Forwarders. The SAAFF, formed in 1921, is a non-profit national organisation which has a board of highly experienced directors and closely liaises with government departments and parastatal institutions to deal with a wide range of freight related matters. SAAFF is a member of FIATA, who represents approximately 40 000 forwarding and logistics firms.

Global Logistics Alliance is not only able to offer economic contribution to business owners but also peace of mind that our practices are aligned to the highest level of moral and ethical conduct. Our operations are guided by our missions and values.

“Freight Forwarding plays an essential role in international trade and our members are dedicated to facilitating this activity through their involvement in the management of transportation, customs clearing, documentation, third party payments and many other elements of international supply chains. We call the freight forwarder the “architect of transport”. Globalisation and the need to reduce cost over the entire supply chain have re-focused the freight forwarder in ways that are innovative and functional.” – SAAFF
